We’re having a great opportunity this weekend.

For getting some rest. For taking a break. For thinking about life, about what really matters. I hope you have here a real experience with God.

We believe that God revels Himself through nature, through our consciousness, and through the Bible. And I believe that we’re gonna have all these elements combined this weekend.

There is a story in the Bible I very much like. It’s about how God is involved in our business. It’s about how He cares. It’s about how we need to understand what happens in the spiritual world.

There was a time in Israel when a prophet revealed to the king the plans of the enemy. Every time Syrian king tried to attack Israel, they were prepared to resist it. The Syrian king was very angry. He thought someone was betraying him.

Then, one of his servant said: “Actually, there is a prophet there. He knows everything before it happens.”

The king decided to kill the prophet. The prophet was already an old men. He didn’t have an army... even a sword. He wasn’t hidden and... even couldn’t run. The only “problem” was... Elisha was known as a man of God and everybody knew it.

A great army was sent to kill him. Can you imagine? A whole army trying to kill a simnple man?! The army surrounded the city. When the prophet’s servant saw them, he was afraid and panicked.

“Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” He said. Then, Elisha, quietly, answered: “Don’t be afraid. You’re not seeing. Those who are with us are more, than those who are with them.”

So, the man of God made a prayer. “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see. Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”

There are more than we naturally can see. There is a conflict around you. There is a battle for your heart’s ownership. The real problem is... we cannot see. We need the vision. You must understand what’s going on around you.

My prayer for this weekend is: “Open their eyes Lord. Open it, and they will be able to see”.
